  • Can I donate my unused medications?
Legally, we are not able to dispense medications that have left the control of the supply chain (manufacturer - wholesaler - pharmacy). This legal restriction is to assure safety for patients. We want to avoid the possibility that the medications are not fit for patient use. We really appreicate your generosity, and we will monitor the status of this issue. Some states allow re-dispensing of some medicines. We will continue to pursue this issue to help serve more people.

  • Does everyone get free prescriptions?
Not everyone gets free prescriptions. Providing financial support depends on several factors that are present at the moment of the request. Factors that affect the support decision include: How many resources we have (either cash for donation or medications we can dispense) Financial Need: to be considered a charity, we need to consider the financial need of each patient request. That's why we have to ask so many questions about your budget, etc. However, we don't just provide financial support. We also offer other services to attempt to help everyone who calls: We may have to seek a donor to sponsor your situation. We may help direct you to a local resource. We may have our pharmacist work with your physician to find a more affordable medication that treats your condition. We may know of a coupon that you can use to reduce or eliminate a copay. We may help with a long term strategy of finding an insurance plan or medicaid program. So, it is true that not everyone gets free prescriptions. But we are here to help you get access and improve your health.
